Adie

Your family’s information

Privacy policy

Adie is a local journal. Your child’s records are not sent to the developer.

Effective September 30, 2026 · Developer: Bryl Kezter Lim · Contact: bryllim@gmail.com

1. Information stored in the app

Adie stores information you choose to enter, such as child profile details, feeding and sleep records, diapers, growth measurements, health notes, medicines, vaccination and appointment records, milestones, memories, photos, videos, school records, enrollment details, and attached documents. These records are held in the app’s local storage on your device.

2. No developer collection or tracking

The Adie app does not upload these records to the developer or a developer-operated server. It has no sign-in, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking, or third-party SDK that receives your records. It does not sell your information. Generated artwork bundled in the app does not involve sending your records or photos to an AI service.

3. Optional device permissions

Manage permissions through your device’s Settings. Refusing optional permissions does not require creating an account.

4. Widgets, system services, and device backups

Adie shares selected local record summaries and preferences with its own widget extension through an on-device app group. Widgets and Live Activities may display child names and care summaries on your Home or Lock Screen; use your device’s display and notification settings to control visibility.

Your device’s Apple backup services may include Adie’s app data depending on your settings. Apple’s own terms and privacy policy apply to those backups and system services. Adie does not provide a developer-operated cloud backup or cross-device sync service.

5. Exporting, sharing, and opening links

Data leaves Adie when you deliberately export or share it to a destination you select. Exported files, shared summaries, and their recipients are then governed by that destination’s privacy practices. JSON and CSV exports exclude media attachments and are not a full backup or restore mechanism.

Trusted Resources, support, and policy links open an external website or mail application. Adie does not append your journal records to these links. Those services may process ordinary web-request or email information according to their own policies.

6. Retention and deletion

Local records remain until you delete an entry, delete its child profile, or remove the app and its local data. The developer cannot remotely retrieve or delete your local journal. Copies already exported, shared, or included in device backups must be deleted separately from those locations.

7. Children’s information

Adie is intended for parents and caregivers to keep private records about children; it is not a social platform or service for children to submit information to the developer. The developer does not receive the child profiles or records entered in the app.

8. Support correspondence and this website

If you choose to email support, the developer receives your email address and the content you send and uses them to respond and resolve the request. Do not send unnecessary medical or identifying information. Support correspondence is retained only as needed for handling the request and related obligations; email the developer to request deletion.

This support website does not use advertising, analytics scripts, contact forms, or nonessential cookies added by the developer. Its hosting provider may process standard request metadata, such as IP address and browser information, to operate and secure the site. This website is separate from Adie’s locally stored journal.

9. Changes and contact

Updates to this policy will appear here with a revised effective date. If a future app update changes its data practices, the developer will update the policy and App Store privacy declarations accordingly. For questions or support correspondence deletion requests, email bryllim@gmail.com.
